By attending this roundtable discussion you learn about current approaches and practices supporting the recently revised National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP) that are intended to make infrastructure more resilient.
Discussion Resiliency, as it relates to community expectations of the nation’s infrastructure and resources, is confidence in availability, continuous operations, and efficient restoration when disrupted. By attending this roundtable discussion you learn about current approaches and practices supporting the recently revised National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP) that are intended to make infrastructure more resilient. Additionally, attend this roundtable discussion to learn more about lessons learned, holistic risk management concepts, funding issues and mechanisms for infrastructure enhancement. This forum is designed to encourage audience participation, with two expert panels from community, government, non-profit and private sector officials presenting their views followed by audience participation in debate and dialogue.
