The Spring Meeting of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Information Technology Evaluation Program (ITEP) took place on April 26-27, 2006, concurrently with GovSec, U.S. Law & Ready! at the Washington Convention Center. The meeting, a joint effort between the Office of the Chief Information Officer and the Office for Domestic Preparedness, released results of thirteen state demonstration projects during their meeting and further demonstrate their results in a DHS - ITEP pavilion on the U.S. Law Enforcement show floor. The programs were developed by state and local public safety agencies to take existing "state-of-the-market" information technologies and improve information sharing and integration in mission critical areas. States presented their demonstration programs in three clusters: Information Sharing, Wireless Technologies, and Geospatial Technologies. 2006 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
